Let’s Find Out!

EVERYBODY is SOMEBODY
with gifts and talents to share!

Last year our Church School families had the opportunity to spend time with our “Nobody” doll while they did a project which allowed them to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Along the way, they taught “Nobody” valuable skills about helping others. Through this project we recognized that EVERYBODY is SOMEBODY. So now it’s time to give “Nobody” a name and get ready for another great year of serving others.

September 18th – “An Especially Special Day”

Children JK –Grade 5 are invited to celebrate “Nobody’s” Birthday! Join us as we celebrate the many ways that we are able to help others and brainstorm for the coming year. We will also be working as a group to come up with a name and identity for our “Nobody” doll.

God’s Heart…Our Hands

This year families are encouraged to continue finding ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The “Nobody” doll (soon to be names!) will be available to take home. This year we will be focusing on how we can serve others. To get started on your family project, just follow these simple steps!

1. Decide as a family WHO you would like to serve (it could be an organization or an individual)

2. Brainstorm HOW your family’s gifts can be used to serve (cooking, cleaning, visiting, collecting donations, raising awareness, etc)

3. GO SERVE!

4. Choose a symbol of your work and attach it to the doll. Take a picture, draw, or write about the experience. Bring it back and SHARE it with the church family!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to talk with Bethany!
